Day 29 - Student Event

Assignment 2 presentation was around the corner, and I worked on it this morning. After which, was our class test on chapter 10 BPE. We rested for a while before heading for a student event organized by the China student leaders! And again, another fellow comrade's birthday! Happy birthday GLORIA!!

Chapter 10 Test
Another episode of class test on Chapter 10 Business Process Engineering.

Happy Hour!
I have never had so much fun in on this trip! The event organized by the China students was a success. Everyone were laughing and enjoying the night!

Warming Up
"Always warm up before exercise". This is one advice not to be missed. For any dancer, performer, or soccer player, it is important to stretch before exercising. If a ligament of the body is torn, he can no longer carry on with his career.

Tongue Twister
Erwin with his professional rapping skills!

Balloon Bursting
A funny game of trying to step and burst each others balloon. Some even hide their balloons behind them so that it would not be in sight!

Popping
Entertaining such an energetic crowd was a great pleasure of mine! I did several sick moves to hype up the crowd!

Singer
Our super star Edy has taken over the stage to sing a wonderful song.

Limbo Rock
I've always loved to play the game "Limbo Rock". Other participants used innovative methods such as crawling or sliding under, some of them BLASTED my mind by doing a split!

Musical Chair
This game raises the heartbeat of participants. Adrenaline begins to rush when the song is played, and participants have to get ready to take the seat when the music is stopped.

Happy Birthday GLORIA!!
A happy girl in the house, as we all surprised her this fruitful night!

REFLECTIONS
The IT guy behind the room only tried out my song right before the performance. It turned out that the system could not read the format, and corrupted the sound system. In the end, I danced to a different song from the original. That is why every event requires a rehearsal, and testing of the sound systems and lighting. Thankfully, this is only a small event in a ballroom. Imagine what it would be like in a major event with thousands of eyes on you?

Stretching of the body before extensive movements is essential to prevent tearing of muscle ligaments. I accidentally over stretched my thigh muscle once, which made me unable to pull off certain dance movements, and it is quite demoralizing. Therefore, any professional athlete will will warm up, otherwise any damage done to their body will make them fulfill their career.

An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field.
-Niels Bohr
